Label converters looking to develop and grow their business in the fast-growing market of shrink sleeve labels can now tap into the extensive knowledge of Sia Memarnia, an internationally-renowned sleeve solutions consultant, who has published a comprehensive hard-copy book on ‘How to Sell Shrink Sleeves.’

Published in A4 hard copy format, the book is entitled ‘Shrink Sleeves: International Markets and Growth Opportunities. How to Sell Shrink Sleeves.’

The 250-page book contains around 70 graphs and charts showing the growth of shrink sleeve labels in all international regions and also in major countries from 1960 to 2010, with a five-year forecast. Memarnia says he has been collecting shrink sleeve market data for 28 years and has used his international network of contacts to update and verify the data for various countries and regions.

The information contained in the book is currently not available from any other publication or source. There are also over 200 color photographs to illustrate various points in the book.

In addition to the actual growth since 1960 − and the projected future growth − the book details the reasons for the growth. It also puts a great deal of emphasis on the fact that the growth is not due to the ‘conventional wisdom’ and the all round full-length decoration capability of shrink sleeve labels, as a paper label on a can of baked beans provides the same result at a fraction of the cost.

There are very many other real and quantifiable benefits that are detailed in the book, bringing readers to the key message on ‘How to Sell Shrink Sleeves’. Selling shrink sleeve labels, explains Memarnia, requires technical know-how and also the ability to identify and satisfy client needs in a way that takes costs out and minimizes the overall amount of packaging used.

The price of the book is £3,000 a copy, including postage and packing.

The book is available for purchase from the L&L.com Bookshop.
