IIR Exhibitions is said to be delighted with the overwhelming support it is currently receiving for the launch of Ipex South Asia. With still more than 10 months to go until the event – which runs between 24-27 October 2007 at Expo XXI, Greater Noida – the Ipex South Asia team has secured the commitment of over 80 companies to exhibit. The exhibiting companies are split equally between both Indian and International manufacturers and suppliers.

"The industry has reacted extremely positively to the launch and it is clear that this is the right time for a pan regional event of such pedigree, covering the whole of the graphic arts market. At a time when the South Asian market is attracting massive overseas and national investment it is exciting to be able to provide the industry with a unique platform to market and sell their products,’ stated Trevor Crawford, exhibition director. ‘We are extremely pleased with our progress to date and feel that we are in a very strong position going into the start of 2007.’

This sentiment is echoed in the feedback gathered during Ipex South Asia’s recent participation at both IPAMA in Hyderabad, 10-14 November and more recently at PAMEX in Mumbai 10-14 December. During these two shows the team held over 400 meetings with leading industry figures and anticipate extensive bookings in the next few weeks.
Ipex South Asia was proud to host a Gala Dinner on the second night of PAMEX, for over 350 exhibitors in association with the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP). The evening got underway with Mr Manoj Mehta, the newly elected President of the AIFMP, and Mr Srinivasa, General Secretary publicly announcing their support of Ipex South Asia. In addition, IIR Exhibitions Managing Director, Nicky Mason and Exhibition Director, Trevor Crawford detailed their plans to bring the IPEX brand to South Asia.

These plans include the appointment of internationally renowned Expo Media Events as the official Operations contractor. In addition, with their extensive international experience and invaluable knowledge of the local market they have been appointed as the official local marketing team to support the UK based IPEX marketing department.
Ipex South Asia has confirmed the appointment of Conference and Incentive Management (CIM) as the official travel and accommodation agency. They are tasked with securing discounted accommodation rates and facilitating Exhibitor and Visitor travel and itinerary planning.

Furthermore, IIR Exhibitions have announced the Ipex South Asia Briefing Day for 22 March 2007, to be held at the Expo XXI venue, in Greater Noida. The day will consist of interactive presentations delivered by IIR Exhibitions and some print industry personnel.
