JDF training goes on-line
To meet growing educational needs driven by the emerging Job Definition Format (JDF) technology, CIP4 and IPA have announced a second round of "JDF Expert Certificate" training programs via LIVE on-line webinars and via archived Video 24/7 OnDemand access.
The program will consist of 13 sessions, beginning on October 27, 2004 and continuing approximately every two weeks concluding in April, 2005. Program content, registration details and pricing can be accessed at www.ipa.org/jdf.
After attending all training sessions, individual students must pass a final examination to achieve their personal "JDF Expert Certificate" and be permitted to professionally use the "JDF Expert" designation.
Content for the training program was developed by CIP4 Organization Technical Committee leaders and experts in 2004. CIP4 brings together vendors, consultants and end-users in the print communications, graphic arts industry and associated sectors, covering a variety of equipment, software, peripherals, and processes.
All training sessions are provided via IPA's LIVE webinar capabilities, allowing for instructor interaction and audience questions. OnDemand recordings of the basic instruction are also available for internet viewing 24/7. Attendees will have access to both LIVE and OnDemand sessions for those not able to attend the LIVE programs.
