JDSU adds to SecureShift Range of anti-counterfeit optical technology

JDSU, a provider of optical innovation and brand authentication solutions, has announced general availability of SecureShift Crimson/Copper product authentication labels. The latest addition to the SecureShift Technology family of overt brand authentication color-shifting effects joins the portfolio of four existing colors: Blue/Bronze, Jade/Violet, Rose/Green and Silver/Purple.

‘Several brand owners with product counterfeiting issues approached us about developing a brighter red face color that would be a closer match for their corporate brand identity,’ said Roy Bie, vice president and general manager of JDSU’s Flex Products Group. ‘We’ve had great feedback from the market on the eye-catching look that we achieved with SecureShift Crimson/Copper, which provides our customers with yet another color choice to enhance alignment with their brands.’

SecureShift Crimson/Copper is also available as a SecureShift MetaSwitch label from LA Label, JDSU’s cGMP compliant secure printing facility. SecureShift MetaSwitch won the Technical Excellence in Security award from the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters & Laminators (AIMCAL) in 2005.
