Kimberly-Clark to present at 2009 LPIA Fall Management Conference

Kimberly-Clark will present at the 2009 LPIA Fall Management Conference entitled ‘Getting Back to the Basics of Business’. The conference is scheduled for September 20-22 at the Kingsmill Resort in Williamsburg, Virginia, USA.
Allen Marquardt of Kimberly-Clark will discuss how to deliver new and different forms of value to the customers; how to meet the evolving needs of the integrated communications environment; current and future consumer trends and their impact on brand, labeling and packaging development; as well as the new realities challenging company brands growth and sustainability efforts.
Marquardt is responsible for the retail packaging for K-C retail brands. He also serves as a quality auditor for new and existing print suppliers. He has more than 25 years of packaging and printing experience having worked with leading fortune 100 companies in the food and consumer products arena, including Hershey Foods, CPC International, and Johnson’s Wax. Marquardt has worked in packaging research and development, packaging graphics and purchasing. He has designed and installed package lines, and has managed multiple packaging teams including quality, package development, package graphics and marketing promotions teams. He has developed or co-authored several patents and is currently a member of several industry trade associations, including the FTA, and serves on several committees and boards including the SGP Partnership.
