Ko-Pack president hands on company to son

After twenty-nine years of Presidency, Junichi Kobayashi will hand over the corporate leadership of Ko-Pack to his son, Jun Kobayashi Jr, on 1 June 2004. During his management Junichi Kobayashi has grown Ko-Pack's business from a small tag & label manufacturer, which was founded by his father Tai Kobayashi, to its current status as global press supplier and highly innovative label converter.

The inauguration and party was held on April 12, 2004 at the Imperial Hotel, in Tokyo. In attendance were over five hundred people from around the world involved in the print industry. The ceremony was started with the traditional march of "Kiyari" and continued with the inauguration speeches and entertainment.
