Kodak extends US packaging reach

- Extended deal includes analog flexo, Miraclon letterpress and Rigilon molding plates
- GE Richards to offer letterpress and analog plates throughout the US
Kodak and GE Richards Graphic Supplies are to extend their dealer relationship to include the former’s range of analog flexo, Miraclon letterpress and Rigilon molding plates.
GE Richards has been a dealer of Kodak systems for more than three decades, including pre-press consumables, equipment and workflow.
With the extended relationship, GE Richards will have access to a broader portfolio of Kodak’s packaging technology and will become an even more active channel partner in the growing packaging market.
The agreement will enable GE Richards to offer Kodak letterpress and analog plates in all of its US branch locations, which are located throughout the US.
‘Kodak and GE Richards share a common, singular focus on customers and delivering them exceptional value and service,’ said John Anderson, Kodak’s US&C segment sales and product marketing director for packaging.
‘The extension of this longstanding relationship was a logical evolution that will enable Kodak to reach a greater number of customers with our technology and solutions, in an efficient and effective manner.’
Jeff Wagner, vice president of GE Richards, said: ‘Kodak is an important partner, and the extension of our relationship with them enhances both of our companies’ ability to deliver outstanding service to our packaging customers.
‘We know first-hand that Kodak’s packaging technology is outstanding, and these new plates are a welcome addition to the broad portfolio of products that we offer.’
