KPG and Artwork Systems Group NV announce strategic alliance

Kodak Polychrome Graphics (KPG) and Artwork Systems Group NV have announced a worldwide strategic alliance under which KPG will distribute the AWS Nexus product line in conjunction with its own technology.

Initially, Artwork Systems will incorporate Kodak Polychrome Graphics RealTimeProof online proofing solutions into its workflows.

RealTimeProof is a suite of web-based proofing solutions providing remote, soft and hard proofing. Using patented streaming technology, Pixels on Demand, gigabytes of high resolution files can be viewed in seconds, even over a dial up connection. Users need only a web browser on a Mac or PC and a free, downloadable, plug-in to proof their original files.

In the near future, Artwork Systems will incorporate KPG’s proprietary colour management tools into its workflow software solutions.
