German-based label and packaging materials manufacturer schfer-etiketten, and Kugler-Womako, a Krber PaperLink company have announced a plan to cooperate in the field of labeling technology. schfer-etiketten intends to stop the manufacture and sales of its Combina labeling machines business in order to expand its core business of manufacturing and printing self-adhesive labels and packaging materials.
Kugler-Womako is planning to incorporate Combina into its own product line-up and to manufacture, sell and further develop it in the existing company. The companies will work together to provide the full measure of customer support, from labeling systems planning and application, to supplying spare parts for the Combina labeling machines and systems already installed.

Both companies hope that this cooperation will enable them to offer customers a broad range of labeling technologies as well as labeling systems.
Kugler-Womako has supplied machines and services to the paper converting industry for over forty years. As a Krber PaperLink company, it claims to benefit from the synergies within the group in the fields of research and development, as well as sales and materials procurement. Krber PaperLink is part of the Krber Group employing approximately 8,000 people worldwide and with a turnover of around 1.3 billion Euros.
