FINAT, the self-adhesive labels trade association, continues its worldwide membership drive with a ‘winning heart and minds’ exhibition stand at this November’s Labelexpo Asia show in Shanghai.

Jan Frederik Vink, FINAT’s president, said: ‘We will be in Shanghai to make contacts with representatives of the local industry to further develop relationships between China and us.

‘We want to see what we can develop that might result in more steady co-operation with the growing Chinese label industry and show what we can do to help our mutual development. In other words, we want to win their hearts and their minds at the show.’

As part of the drive to expand FINAT’s importance and influence in the Far East, the organization will also be holding meetings with members of the local trade press during the exhibition between November 28 and 30.

FINAT has already taken the step of reproducing its Technical Handbook into Chinese in recognition of the area’s growing importance, and will be selling the special edition at Shanghai.

Visitors to the show can find FINAT on stand W4 F42.
