Registration is now open for Labelexpo India, with the event returning for its sixth edition from October 29 to November 1, 2012, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
Set to be the largest show in its ten-year history, there will be over 200 local and international manufacturers exhibiting at this year’s fair. There has also been an increase in international exhibitors, with more manufacturers than ever before from the Far and Middle East including Anoop Plastic and Taghleef Industries.
Aimed at labeling and packaging converters, brand owners and label designers, many new product and technology launches are scheduled to take place. As well as the latest advances in label materials, films, sleeves and wraps technologies being showcased, there will be an unprecedented 27 working presses at the show giving live demonstrations. In addition Labelexpo India will again play host to the LMAI Avery Dennison Label Awards.
Roger Pellow, Labelexpo managing director, commented: ‘We’re delighted to be returning to India and again look forward to working closely with our partners at the LMAI. Since the show was last held in 2010, India’s label industry has continued to grow at around 7-10 percent, while business has become more commercialized with international brands such as Carrefour and Walmart entering the Indian wholesale market and in turn driving opportunities for label converters.
‘As printers see their businesses mature, competition intensify and a rise in demand for high quality and specialist printing, visiting this year’s Labelexpo India and seeing the latest innovations available to the industry will be more imperative than ever.’
