Highcon and Scodix both occupy partner booths within HP’s Print Your Future hall at the label industry show.

In Highcon’s area, digitally cut and creased carton samples are being used to show the advances that have been made to its system, which launched at Drupa and has been evolved to refine the precision and quality in the 18 months since.

These samples include a cosmetics carton, which has been printed using the new HP Indigo 30000 digital press, on show in the area, and converted using the Highcon Euclid. This has included the laser die-cutting of a floral motif on the front of the pack. On the reverse, Scodix Sense has been used to add a sensory element to the packaging.

Highcon chief executive officer and co-founder Aviv Ratzman said: ‘This packaging shows exactly how it is possible to use an end-to-end system comprised entirely of digital equipment to produce outstanding print results.’
