Edale appoints agent for Indian sub-continent

UK-based press manufacturer Edale is looking to claim its share of the booming economy of the Indian sub-continent by appointing Kolkata-based Printers Supply as its agent for the region.

A manufacturer of machinery for the flexo and label printing industry for over the last 50 years, Edale is entering the Indian market with a range of specialized application machinery for printing and integration in narrow web format.

The areas in which Edale specializes are magnetic strip applications, RFID inlay insertions, tamper evidence, watermarks, security die cutting, micro text printing, scratch off placement, hologram placement, multi web lamination and registration,  and phone re-charge cards.

Edale caters to the increasing demand for commercial security to protect the printed job from counterfeiting aiming at brand protection and product tamper evidence by incorporating different processes on narrow web presses such as flexo, screen, digital and gravure operation with in-line hologram, RFID, lamination, punching, die cutting and micro perforation. The final products can be in sheet, reel or fan-fold form in one operation.
