Glunz & Jensen acquires K&F International

Glunz & Jensen A/S of Ringsted, Denmark have completed the acquisition of K & F International, Inc., of Indiana, USA. Through this acquisition Glunz & Jensen will broaden its prepress equipment strategy with the addition of K&F’s plate automation technologies, including plate punch/bending, and plate transport systems. The acquisition also expands Glunz & Jensen’s product strategy into press register systems through K&F’s plate lockup technologies and web reduction expertise for presses used by newspapers, commercial printers and reprographic houses.


The new name of the company will be Glunz & Jensen K&F, Inc. and it will be structured as a wholly owned subsidiary of Glunz & Jensen A/S.


Rene Barington, managing director of Glunz & Jensen A/S announced that Thomas Kocsis has been named president of the new company and has appointed a new board of directors consisting of Rene Barington; Ole Beiring, finance manager for Glunz & Jensen A/S; Ole Noerklit, technical director of Glunz & Jensen A/S; and Bruce Goodwin, president of Glunz & Jensen, Inc. Glunz & Jensen plans to continue K&F’s Indiana operations including production, sales, service and administrative functions.
