ICE Europe 2015 is to take place on March 10-12 in Munich, Germany, alongside the next CCE International. ICE Europe is an exhibition for paper, film and foil converting, while CCE International is for the corrugated and folding carton industry.

Having provided the 2013 technical program, AIMCAL, the Association of International Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators, has again worked on the speaker line-up for the ICE Europe technical conference program.

The program consists of three streams, web processing, web coating/drying, and metrology and inspection, with one area covered through presentations on the morning of each day of ICE Europe 2015.

On March 10, web processing will be covered by speakers from Fraunhofer IVV, University of Strasbourg, Emral, FPInnovations and Nip Control, who will address topics such as the mechanical stability of high barrier films, wrinkle analysis and web bagginess.

On March 11, web coating/drying will be looked at by speakers from Fraunhofer FEP, PCT BroadBeam, Ahlbrandt System, Vetaphone and MMC Ryotec, with presentations covering electron beam curing and the use of water-based inks and adhesives on raw BOPP.

On March 12, metrology and inspection will be covered by NDC Technologies, Incore Systemes, ISRA Vision, Sensory Analytics and Teknek through presentations looking at in-line measurement and control to optimize coating and converting, in-line cleaning of process rollers, real-time thickness measurement of ultra-thin coatings and defect removal for printed electronics applications.

The intended audiences for these conferences are technical professional personnel in research and development, manufacturing and marketing.
