The Label Makers invest in second Durst Tau 330

Durst has sold its second Tau 330 UV inkjet digital label printing press to The Label Makers located in the United Kingdom. The converter purchased its first Tau 330 in 2013 and is at full capacity running the press over three shifts. It is equipped with seven print stations and chill roller for film conversion.

The Label Makers have been successful in shifting a significant amount of both flexo and screen work to the UV inkjet press, and has experienced growth in acquiring new business. It uses the press to produce short, medium and long run label jobs for the health and beauty market, which requires opaque white ink lay down and quality print.

Said Helmuth Munter, product manager at Durst, 'In the end, it was us again. There will be very little training required and The Label Makers will be able to get the press up and running quickly once it's delivered and installed.'
