Laetus acquired by Danaher

Laetus has been acquired by Danaher and has joined the likes of Esko and X-Rite within its Product Identification platform.

Laetus is a supplier of in-line quality inspection systems. It has sold more than 18,000 systems across the globe including more than 42,000 Laetus cameras and sensors.

Danaher’s Product Identification platform develops and manufactures equipment, consumables and software for various printing, marking, coding, design and color management applications on consumer and industrial products. Other companies within the Product Identification platform include Esko, X-Rite, Pantone, Wolke, Videojet, Linx and FOBA. Laetus will operate as an independent business within the Product Identification platform.

Headquartered in Alsbach-Hähnlein, Germany, Laetus has scale to address the needs of customers worldwide with some 200 employees, and direct sales and engineering operations, in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the UK, the US, China, India, Brazil and Mexico. In addition, Laetus has a network of channel partners that extend its technical expertise to another 40 countries.
