MPS UK to host Open House showcasing EB flexo press

MPS UK is to host an Open House event at its facility in Wigan next week, where its EB flexo press platform will be presented alongside a host of partners from across the label printing supply chain.

MPS UK is to host an Open House event at its facility in Wigan next week, where its EB flexo press platform will be presented alongside a host of partners from across the label printing supply chain

Live label print jobs, including cold foil, will be demonstrated at the event, focused around the EB flexo press platform.

Three technologies of the EB flexo press will be featured during the Open House: Crisp.Dot Light, which guarantees predictable high-quality label printing with no gear marking; iSet, a new MPS technology which features intelligent pressure settings and easy operation; and iStop technology, providing zero waste at roll change.

MPS will also share tips to help improve printing processes and highlight the range of available MPS services and technical support programs.

Avery Dennison, Tesa, Paragon Inks, Cheshire Anilox Technology and Reproflex 3 are sponsoring the event, with representatives of each on-site to present their products and technologies that supplement the EB flexo press, including mounting tapes, substrates, anilox rollers, printing plates, and inks.

Morning and afternoon sessions will be offered on both days of the MPS UK Open House, with morning sessions beginning at 11am and afternoon sessions at 2pm. A lunch will be served in-between morning and afternoon sessions.

Printers and converters interested in attending the event are invited to register by e-mail to nick@mpssystems.net with their contact information, indicating the day they plan to attend and session. Transportation to and from the Liverpool and Manchester airports is available.
