UK-based PGM Graphics Solutions has appointed the Weldon Celloplast, based in New Delhi, as its exclusive agents for the company’s pre-owned Gallus and Arsoma narrow web presses and related ancillary equipment for the narrow web label and converting industry.

Recognizing the Indian label market as a major growth area, both Weldon Celloplast and PGM Graphics Solutions have agreed to make a joint cooperation to develop the market primarily for pre-owned Gallus and Arsoma machines. The geographical area covered by the agreement is India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal and UAE.

Weldon Celloplast, founded in 1982 by Harveer Singh Sahni, was one of the first companies in India to start local production of tapes and release papers as well as self-adhesive label stocks. Weldon recently set up a separate division to be able to offer its customers international consumables as well as equipment and accessories for the Indian narrow web label printers. The new division is lead by Pawandeep Singh Sahni, operations director, and son of the founder Harveer Singh Sahni.

PGM Graphics Solutions, which last year established a close cooperation with its business partners, ATIQS, in Germany, is now able to offer pre-owned machinery fully refurbished to include three levels of refurbishments from ATIQS, as well as its unique offering to re-build and re-configure pre-owned Gallus and Arsoma machines for special application purposes.

PGM further offers ATIQS’ solutions for booklet application and automatic register systems, which can all be integrated into pre-owned Gallus and Arsoma machines. When refurbishing and repairing pre-owned Gallus and Arsoma machines, PGM and ATIQS can offer a guarantee that only original spare parts are being used, and depending on level of refurbishment they can offer up to 12 months warranty. The highest level, Level III, includes cleaning, surface treatment and total refurbishment with warranty, modernization and optimization, including print- and acceptance test.
