QuadTech details Drupa sales

- Significant new and repeat sales coinciding with Drupa; more to be announced in near-future

- Response to inspection and color control systems for packaging printers ‘unbelievable’

 
Press control technology specialist QuadTech saw strong interest in its products at the recent Drupa trade fair, signing ‘significant orders’ with new and repeat customers.
 
Exhibiting in hall 17 of the quadrennial event, the deals signed by QuadTech with customers covered a range of technologies.
 

Orders

Germany’s ADV Schoder is equipping a KBA C16 press with QuadTech controls, including QuadTech’s ICON product platform, register guidance system with MultiCam, ribbon control system with MultiCam, color control system with Instrument Flight and SpectralCam, and Data Central reporting. The color control solution will include the latest Instrument Flight + L*a*b* software options.
 
Fellow German firm B&K Offsetdruck will also be adding QuadTech technology to a KBA C16 press, installed with similar systems to the ADV Schoder KBA press. The installation is the third KBA C16 press to be outfitted with QuadTech controls.
 
In France, BLG Toul, st Finance Group is adding new controls on two more manroland Lithoman presses after reporting an excellent return on investment from previous installations of QuadTech technology,
 
Again, QuadTech equipment includes the ICON product platform, register guidance system with MultiCam, ribbon control system with MultiCam, color control system with Instrument Flight and SpectralCam, and Data Central reporting.
 
Comines-based Gulliame Rotative has ordered the QuadTech ICON product platform, register guidance system with MultiCam, ribbon control system with MultiCam, color control system with Instrument Flight and SpectralCam, and Data Central reporting with color print curve production summary report capability.
 
In the Far East, Chinese firm Hong Bo Tian Technology Co. will be adding QuadTech controls to a Goss M-600 press, including the QuadTech ICON product platform, register guidance system with Vector, ribbon control system with MultiCam, color control system with Instrument Flight and SpectralCam, and Data Central reporting.
 
Vietnam’s Thran Phu will install the QuadTech ICON product platform, register guidance system with MultiCam and ribbon control system with MultiCam on a Goss M-600 press.
 
Further installations include for the QuadTech Autotron 2600 with ClearLogic register guidance system at Grandeco Wallfashion Group-Belgium NV and Pelican Rotoflex Pvt Ltd in India.

 
Additional announcements

QuadTech also used Drupa to announce: Instrument Flight color balance control strategies from partner System Brunner, a cooperation with Alwan Color Expertise to automate dot gain compensation curves; certification by Windmöller & Holscher for flexo press lines; and a cooperation with X-Rite, Huber Group, and ColorConsulting to share and process data.
 
New product introductions included: Service Advantage with Proactive Care, a new water control capability for AccuCam; AccuCam for the retail insert market; and high definition dot viewing with film stabilization for the color measurement system with SpectralCam.
