Radici Film officially becomes Taghleef Industries

Effective December 1, Radici Film S.p.A., which was recently acquired by Taghleef Industries LLC of Dubai, has become part of the Taghleef Industries Group and has changed its name to Taghleef Industries S.p.A.


Similarly, effective January 1, Radici Film Hungary Kft will be named Taghleef Industries Kft.


The acquisition of Radici Film by Taghleef Industries was announced in April at the Interpack show in Dusseldorf. Taghleef Industries belongs to the United Arab Emirates’ Al Ghurair Group and is among the largest producers of BOPP and CPP film for food and non-food packaging.


Thanks to the acquisition, Taghleef Industries Group now has six production sites – Dubai, Oman, Egypt, Australia, Italy and Hungary, in addition to a logistics center in Germany.


Total production capacity is 260,000 tons/year of which 60,000 tons/year are of metalized film. The Italian site will also act as the R&D center for the group.
