Rotatek appoints agents in UK and Italy

In a move to strengthen its presence in key European markets, Spanish press manufacturer Rotatek has appointed two exclusive agents for Italy and UK & Ireland.

So.Ma.Ca s.r.l., a former Gallus representative in Italy for 35 years, has signed a contract with Rotatek to distribute its combined offset printing presses for the label and packaging industry in the Italian market. Meanwhile, the Spanish company has established an agency agreement with UK-based PGM Graphic Solutions.

So.Ma.Ca, founded in 1971, has recognized experience in the market for adhesive labels, packaging and paper envelopes. The company has a commercial office and warehouse in the center of Milan. Franco Nascimbeni, owner, commented: ‘We see that Rotatek offers the best range of machinery in terms of top quality offset combination, productivity and innovation. With the most advanced servo-driven machines like Brava, Combi and Universal, we consider these machines as unbeatable in their market.’

PGM Graphics Solutions was founded in 2005 by Claus Nielsen, who has a background of more than 20 years in the narrow web label industry, including five years as international sales manager for Nilpeter, and 13 years as founder and MD of Gallus-Group UK Ltd. PGM is further dealing with pre-owned label printing and converting machinery (primarily Gallus and Arsoma), and also offers other ancillary products for the narrow web industry.

Bibiana Rodriguez, member of the board of Rotatek, said: ‘With these two new agents, we definitely believe we have strengthened our position with two organizations which enjoy many years’ of recognition in the industry in their respective markets.’
