Scodix embarks on global tour with Ultra Pro digital enhancement press

Scodix expanded its line of presses with the introduction of the Ultra Pro, an extension of its existing Ultra model with the addition of numerous new features

Scodix has commenced a worldwide VIP tour to showcase its Ultra Pro digital enhancement press to folding carton converters, commercial printers and digital service providers, which will travel from China to Colombia via Czech Republic.

Scodix expanded its line of presses with the introduction of the Ultra Pro, an extension of its existing Ultra model with the addition of numerous new features, in 2014.

The Scodix Ultra Pro is based on the Ultra model, and can handle up to 1,250 B2+ sheets per hour. It is additionally equipped with controls enabling operators to switch between multiple polymers for varying applications and effects.

Scodix Ultra Pro is also the first system to feature Scodix Spot, a polymer that produces a spot varnish for short runs, and which digitally recreates the effect of traditional flat varnishes without the set-up time or mess, Scodix said.

The Scodix Ultra Pro is to be shown live at seven locations over the coming weeks, starting with an HP Indigo event in Barcelona this week (March 18-19).

Presentation at Visutech Digital Business on March 25-26 in Gothenburg, Sweden then follows, before Print China 2015 on April 7-12 in Dongguan, China, Reklama Polygraf on May 12-14 in Prague, Czech Republic, Printex on May 13-15 in Sydney, Australia and Andigrafica on June 2-5 in Bogota, Colombia.

Scodix’s tour will conclude at Dscoop EMEA 2015 in Dublin, Ireland on June 3-5.

Amit Shvartz, vice president of marketing at Scodix, said: ‘Due to the meteoric rise in demand for digital enhancement, we have decided to intensify our marketing efforts and provide the marketplace with even more opportunities to see the Scodix Ultra Pro live around the world.

‘The quality and the amazing effect of the Scodix Sense, in addition to the new Scodix Spot, has made the Scodix Ultra Pro that much more of a major differentiating factor for users, regardless of the region or market. For most, seeing is believing.’

Scodix is also offering a complimentary business analysis report, specific to each operation. By contacting the Scodix analytical solution team, each business manager can learn what to expect by implementing a Scodix Ultra Pro. To receive a tailored-specific analysis, email scodixast@scodix.com.
