UK customers offered next-day delivery by Dyne Technology

Staffordshire, UK-based industrial automation and surface treatment specialist Dyne Technology is now offering online purchasing with next-day delivery on its various sets of dyne test pens and dyne test inks to mainland UK customers.

Dyne Technology said its dyne test pens and dyne test inks are used to measure surface energy, also referred to as surface tension and expressed in mN/m (dyne), within many industries such as packaging, printing, automotive and plastics manufacturing.

Dyne Technology offers a complete range of dyne test pens and dyne test inks from 30mN/m to 73mN/m and the test solution is made to ISO Standard 8296.

The dyne test method gives quick and easy results indicating surface wettability. The low surface energy of polymer-based substrates often leads to poor adhesion of inks, glues and coatings. If the dyne test fluid remains as a film for three seconds, the substrate will have a minimum surface energy of that ink value. Should the dyne test liquid reticulate or draw back into droplets in less than one second then the surface energy of the substrate is lower than that of the liquid itself. The exact surface energy (dyne level) can be determined by applying a range of increasing or decreasing values of dyne test pens.

As well as being able to purchase products online, customers registered on the Dyne Technology website also have free unlimited access to a complete library of technical information.
