Lithotec Labels wins ROCCI business of the year

Lithotech Labels, a division of Lithotech (Pty) Ltd, and a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bidvest Group, has recently won the coveted Gold Award, in the category Corporate, Listed and Group Companies, as the 2005 business of the year, at a Gala evening hosted by the Roodepoort Chamber of Commerce & Industry in South Africa.

The company was selected after a lengthy and intensive judging process from 68 nominees, which was based on the following criteria: financial performance; social development and involvement; BEE status and initiatives; staff training and development programs; innovation; and future growth opportunities.

The adjudicators, The Institute of Public Accountants of South Africa, were highly complimentary and mentioned that the company’s exemplary management and outstanding manufacturing infrastructures cemented the prestigious award.

Lithotec, a company involved in multiple market segments from pharmaceuticals and cosmetics to RFID and security labels, employs over 3,500 people with 11 manufacturing companies spread throughout three South African provinces, comprising nine sales companies and 14 sales offices.
