The class was organized jointly by SPPC, the label printing branch of the Printing and Printing Equipment Industries Association of China (PEIAC) and Labels & Labeling China.

Sustainability is a hot subject in today’s label printing industry. This online seminar featured topics in Chinese environmental protection policies and sustainable solutions in self-adhesive materials, adhesives and liners. The meeting was hosted by Yolanda Wang, L&L China editor. Four industry experts took part: Zhao Xingrong, deputy secretary of the VOC governance committee of PEIAC; Xin Sun, China service marketing director at Avery Dennison; Min Zhang, China business development manager at Henkel; and Steven Wang, China product manager at UPM.

The seminar was recorded and can now be viewed online.

The Label Academy book ‘Environmental performance and Sustainable Labeling’ has been translated into Chinese and will be officially released in July 2020, together with two other books, ‘Digital Label and Package Printing’ and ‘Shrink Sleeve Technology’.
