Eltech Engineers showcases its latest products for two critical challenges in modern label production, consistent surface treatment and effective static control.

Eltech addresses these challenges with its El-Coroflex Narrow Web Corona Treater and Eltech-305 Anti-Static Shockless Bar, engineered for modern label printing and converting applications.

Developed for narrow-web flexographic label printing and converting machines, the El-Coroflex combines compact integration with advanced power and process-control technology.

Designed for treatment widths from 250 to 600mm and operating line speeds of 50-120m/min, the system supports both conductive and non-conductive substrates. At the heart of the system is ultra-high-frequency IGBT technology, combined with German-made ceramic electrodes for efficient and reliable corona treatment.

A key highlight is Eltech’s Automatic Watt Density Control, which automatically regulates corona treatment power in relation to changing line speed. This helps maintain consistent treatment throughout production, particularly during acceleration and deceleration, reducing dependence on manual power adjustments.

Digital corona-current monitoring provides greater visibility into operating conditions, while integrated PLC/HMI monitoring enables convenient machine supervision.

El-Coroflex incorporates multiple protection and safety features, including ozone extraction, electrode cooling, zero-speed protection, overload protection and thermal protection.

The Eltech-305 Anti-Static Shockless Bar is designed to neutralize unwanted static charges and support smoother, more stable web handling on narrow web flexographic printing and converting machinery. Its shockless construction enables safer installation close to moving substrates, allowing effective static neutralization where it is required.

Operating with the Eltech-335 Power Supply, the Eltech-305 can be manufactured in customized lengths up to 3,000mm, providing flexibility for integration across different machine configurations and web widths.

By bringing together Corona Surface Treatment and Static Elimination, Eltech offers label converters and machine manufacturers complementary technologies designed to improve surface performance, web handling and overall process reliability.

Atik Chauhan, director, said: ‘The label and packaging industry is continuously moving towards higher speeds, greater automation and increasingly demanding substrates. This makes reliable surface treatment and effective static control more important than ever.

‘At Loupe India 2026, we look forward to demonstrating how Eltech’s Corona Treatment and Static Elimination technologies can help converters and machine manufacturers achieve more consistent treatment, smoother web handling and greater process reliability. More importantly, we look forward to meeting industry professionals, understanding their application challenges and developing solutions that create long-term value for their production processes.’

Apex International

Booth A32

Apex International presents Apex 360 – Smart Anilox Management, a continuous approach that looks beyond selecting the right anilox to managing its performance throughout its working life.

Consistent print performance depends on ongoing anilox care beyond the initial right anilox specification. Apex 360 ensures reliable ink transfer through a continuous cycle of configure, measure, maintain and repeat.

Configure standardizes anilox inventory and selects the right specification for each application. Measure provides visibility into the anilox's actual condition through Apex's Smart Audit Program, which evaluates parameters such as cell volume, LPI and cell structure.

Maintain addresses the practices that help protect anilox performance, including appropriate handling, storage and cleaning. Repeat completes the cycle through regular monitoring and care, recognizing that anilox condition can change through regular use.

Mangesh Bhise, sales director, Asia Pacific and Middle East, Apex International, said: ‘The focus needs to extend understanding how consistently it continues to perform throughout its working life. By bringing selection, measurement and care into one continuous process, printers can understand the actual condition of their anilox inventory, make more informed maintenance decisions and take a proactive approach to protecting print performance.’

Apex showcases the technologies and services supporting the Apex 360 approach, including its patented GTT technology and UltraCell+ engraving technology.

A live demonstration of the Apex Audit Program will give visitors an opportunity to see how anilox condition can be objectively evaluated by measuring cell volume, LPI and cell structure.
