Manfred A. Voelk of Fives North American passes away

Fives North American’s Guiding Systems Group, based in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, has announced that Manfred A. Voelk, southeastern sales engineer based in Florence, South Carolina, died suddenly on April 25. He was 50 years old.   

Voelk was a native of Bavaria, Germany, and relocated to the United States in 1991. He spent over 17 years with Erhardt + Leimer in a variety of field service, sales, and management roles while in Germany, the US and Italy. He joined FNA’s Guiding Systems Group in 2004 in a market development role. In 2006, he accepted a territory sales position and moved from Cleveland, Ohio to South Carolina.   

The company said in a statement: ‘Manfred was a friend and colleague to many across a variety of industries having traveled to over 50 countries throughout the world. Fives Group extends its deepest sympathies and condolences to his family and he will be sorely missed.’ 

Manfred Voelk is survived by his wife, Brigitte.
