Manroland Sheetfed appoints distributor in Russia

Manroland Sheetfed and VIP Systems have signed a sales and service agreement to provide printing technology to the Russian market.

Manroland’s offset printing machines satisfy a wide range of requirements in the printing of commercial and packaging products.

VIP Systems is a supplier of printing, post-print and pre-press equipment for the production of cardboard packaging, flexible packaging and labels. It has been working in this market since 1996, has a stable technical and commercial platform and a strong reputation in Russia. 

Günter Franz, managing director of VIP Systems, said: ‘There is no doubt that the main target for us must be to establish a system of workflow that fulfills expectations of the customers and brings a different level of support to the market.

‘The high-performance printing presses of Manroland must be handled by an effective and professional sales organization, followed by strongly customer oriented after sales activities.’

Sergei Spilka, general manager of VIP Systems Moscow, said that one of the key points for customer satisfaction is a permanent local presence and with the network of the VIP Systems partner offices the distance to the customers can be minimized.

He said: ‘In Russia we already cover the main areas in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Novosibirsk with our specialists. In other important areas like Rostov or the Ural region we intend to install also local VIP offices.’
