Mark Andy receives honor for Excellence in Exporting

Mark Andy, a manufacturer of narrow web printing equipment, has been honored by Ted Strickland, governor of the state of Ohio, for its dedication to export-related projects manufactured in its Milford, Ohio, facility.
Annually, the Governor's Excellence in Exporting Award is awarded to companies and organizations of all sizes that have increased the number of export-related jobs in Ohio, or heightened awareness of exporting as a vital component of the state's economy.
‘Mark Andy was considered and awarded for its extensive research in international markets, dedication to these markets by establishment of a substantial network of distributors and agents worldwide and its growing volume of international sales in recent years,’ a spokesperson said.
The Milford, Ohio, facility primarily manufactures Comco-branded printing presses. With 25 percent of the staff dedicated to exporting opportunities, including marketing, sales, manufacturing and shipping, Mark Andy has demonstrated dedication to international markets and domestic efforts to support those markets.
‘We are honored to receive this award from Governor Strickland and the Ohio Office of Global Development,’ said Paul Brauss, president, Mark Andy. ‘As Mark Andy continues to successfully procure international projects, we are further dedicated to expanding our worldwide presence, insuring future export growth and success.’
In addition to manufacturing the Comco brand of printing presses, the Milford facility is the source of UVT-branded UV curing solutions and the Mark Andy VSR line of inspection/rewinders.
