Mark Andy sales continue to grow in Europe
As a result of continued growth and expansion of its brands around the world, Mark Andy, supplier of narrow web flexo technology, has invested in a new Advanced Technology Center for its European headquarters in Basel, Switzerland. The new facility, which will have a gala opening ceremony in February 2007, is a mark of the company’s commitment to Europe and the emerging markets in the eastern sector.
Designed to meet a variety of needs, the new Advanced Technology Center, which has taken months of detailed planning and preparation, will offer a full range of technical support to label and package print converters throughout Europe, as well as other parts of the world. The new facility includes a demonstration showroom for print tests on a cross section of the company’s Mark Andy and Comco press range and VSR converting lines. In addition, the company will be offering certified Mark Andy technical service, advanced print and technical training programs, educational events, applications R&D, and a complete parts and technical support department.
Speaking for Mark Andy Europe, managing director Dieter Huck commented: ‘With successful growth in sales and customers throughout Europe and Eastern Europe, we are very proud to be able to support the entire region with this state-of-the-art facility. It will allow us to highlight the advanced technologies offered by Mark Andy and Comco. We will welcome all of our customers to utilize the center to its fullest.’
Mark Andy has events planned for the Advanced Technology Center throughout 2007, including one of its Educator Seminars and Open House in the Spring. More details of the program will be published in due course.
