Maxcess launches blog for converters
Maxcess International announced the launch of Convertingblog.com at CMM. Tim Walker of TJ Walker and Associates and other industry experts will facilitate the web log, presenting a forum for converters to share ideas and gain knowledge about the converting industry, business and applications.
Converters, industry journalists and interested parties are invited to join in this online discussion forum, with topics ranging from application specific to general business operations. Through dialogue with their peers, participants are able to share experiences and collaborate on issues that they face everyday in an environment that provides incubation of good ideas to the point that they may become the new industry practice.
Convertingblog.com will be facilitated by Tim Walker of TJ Walker and Associates, Inc. Walker will bring over 20 years of industry experience, leading a forum for collaboration among converters and members of the converting industry in discussions on business and applications, expanding collaboration from the manufacturing floor to the converting industry.
“For years Maxcess International has been involved in educational and association communities such as AIMCAL, FTA and the Oklahoma State University Web Handling Research Center in an effort to share knowledge and develop technologies that increase performance and improve our industry offerings,” said Stephanie Tuggle, director of marketing communications for Maxcess International. “In this blog environment, applying knowledge and sharing experiences helps others in the community - everyone wins.”
Maxcess International is the parent company of Fife Corporation (guiding and inspection), MAGPOWR (tension control) and Tidland (slitting and winding). Together, these companies represent technology leadership and innovation to converters, packaging facilities, paper mills, and all applications in between. Maxcess International is also spearheading online training through their ‘TechTips’ e-seminars and training modules available at www.maxcessintl.com/techtips
