Maxcess International, a supplier of engineered components for the web handling industry, has unveiled Maxcess University – a new learning resource for the web handling industry. The university combines hands-on learning opportunities and online resources to improve the web handling process including winding, guiding, slitting, inspection, tension control and more.
Maxcess University will provide expertise of leading manufacturers Fife, MAGPOWR, and Tidland, as well as other industry experts throughout the web handling industry. Formats for learning will include hands-on training and trouble-shooting classes offered in various cities, e-seminars held online throughout the year, access to technical articles and documents, online videos and collaboration on current topics at convertingblog.com.
The university format reflects a commitment by Maxcess International to empower the customer with access to information on technology and the training on how to use it properly, in a format that is easily accessed for multiple styles of learning.
‘We’re focused on empowering converters to improve their web handling process, and this new resource gives them the tools to do so,’ said Stephanie Tuggle, director of Maxcess International. ‘The components of Maxcess University deliver years of web handling experience in a variety of formats to enable each individual to learn the way that’s best for them.’
