MPS South Asia established from January 1 2006
MPS has announced the establishment of its South Asian foothold for the regional label and packaging print market, from the beginning of 2006. From that date on MPS is also located in Mumbai, in the state of Maharastra, in western India.
MPS did intensive research to find the most capable solution to represent its brand in countries like Pakistan, India, Nepal, Mauritius, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. The board appointed Mr Vijay Pareek to lead the MPS distribution in that region. Mr Pareek is very qualified in the regional label and packaging printing market, due to his long experience in narrow web packaging and label printing with today’s latest technologies. Mr Pareek has a university-degree for Engineering in Printing & Communications.
Mr Pareek commented: ‘India and its surrounding countries are challenging markets and I feel happy to work in those markets with MPS’ innovative UV-flexo presses, created with unbeatable patented technology. Overlooking the full range that MPS can offer, I feel confident that we have the right machines for these markets’.
MPS’ fellow directors Bert van den Brink (left of picture) and Eric Hoendervangers welcomed Mr Pareek (right) and his staff and looked forward to putting MPS’ brand in the right place in the South Asian region. ‘We feel very confident that Mr Pareek will be the best man at the right place. He and his staff are experienced and highly-skilled people, completely tailored for this unique cooperation.’
