Radius Solutions Ltd., an integrated business information management/enterprise resource planning provider for the printing and packaging industry, has announced that Multi Packaging Solutions is implementing PECAS Vision software to support its immediate and long-term strategic business objectives.

Multi Packaging Solutions is a supplier of high-end print and packaging. Managed by an experienced group of industry professionals, and backed by Bear Stearns Merchant Banking, Multi Packaging Solutions is prominent in the healthcare, horticultural, media, and value added consumer markets.

The decision to implement a new Business Information Management system was based on the need to standardize operations to a single integrated business platform so the company could increase efficiencies and have immediate access to its critical business information across all of its operations. ‘In today’s world, you’re only as good as the information you can get your hands on,’ said William Hogan, executive vice president and chief financial officer, Multi Packaging Solutions.

Over the last two years, MPS has acquired a number of organizations including The John Henry Company, Steketee-Van-Huis, Hilltop Press and Hamilton Printing. The company requires a standard MIS/ERP system that fits its current operational needs and provides the infrastructure to allow it to quickly integrate acquired operations, while enabling seamless service for its customers.  It also requires a system that will scale to support aggressive goals for topline growth, and the incorporation of processes to help improve profitability.

Multi Packaging Solutions will implement the entire PECAS Vision Suite including: Sales and Production Estimating, Order Handling, Production Scheduling, Shop Floor Data Collection, Material Purchasing and Inventory Control, Job Costing and Financials.  The application will be rolled-out across all of the company’s operations, beginning with its Indianapolis and Louisville locations, which are scheduled to go live in July of this year.
