NELMA Label Manufacturers Expo in May

The NorthEast Label Manufacturers Association (NELMA) will be holding Label Manufacturers Expo IV, its 4th annual trade show and networking conference on Thursday12 May at the Bridgewater Marriott in Bridgewater, New Jersey.  The event, which will run from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, will feature an exhibit hall with over forty key suppliers of products and services to the label printing industry. 
Registered attendees will have the opportunity to attend two fascinating hands-on seminars, delivered by recognized experts, designed to offer instant benefits to virtually any label producing company. Print Tec Network president Bill Farquharson will deliver a presentation titled ‘Get Sales Now’ in which he will outline the five keys to effective prospecting. This session will challenge sales managers and professionals to improve the quality and quantity of prospecting calls, creating the motivation and momentum to drive sales activity.
Ron Irwin, founder of REI, LLC will present ‘Managing, Coaching and Measuring in a Lean Manufacturing Pressroom’.  This discussion will cover many of the performance improvement tools employed in Lean environments, and will include video of time-lapse images of a typical press setups, runs, and cleanup.  Participants will gain an understanding of how measurement and a change in management style can break through pressroom productivity inertia, and will return to their companies with a better idea of how to transform their pressroom to reach a whole new level of productivity and product quality.
The Label Manufacturers Expo IV is open to label converters of all sizes, and is free of charge with advance registration.
