New general manager at SATO Deutschland

SATO Deutschland, the German subsidiary of Japan’s SATO Corporation, has appointed Oliver Zeeb as its new general manager. Zeeb succeeds Morihito Suzuki who will assume a senior management position at SATO Corporation head office in Japan. Zeeb, 40, will be responsible for sales, consulting and services for SATO products in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
Zeeb joins SATO Deutschland, founded in 2002 in Bad Hamburg, with clear aims: ‘RFID technology is taking off, and remains a key focus at SATO. We intend to build upon our already very strong position in this market.’
Most recently Zeeb was European sales and marketing director at Netzsch Gertebau, a specialist for thermo analytical equipment, and was previously European sales and marketing director at Steag Hamatech, manufacturers of production systems for optical storage media. From 1995 to 2000 he worked for Heidelberger Druckmaschinen.
