New marketing firm specializes in packaging and printing
The packaging and printing industries can now take advantage of a new specialist strategic marketing service following the formation of Eurolink Marketing Services in St Ives, Cambridgeshire, UK. The company has been formed by Mr Ib Schjotz-Pedersen and Mrs Sally McGregor, who had previously been head of sales and marketing and European export manager at Tenza Technologies. Between them they have more than 40 years of sales, marketing and manufacturing experience in businesses from new start-ups to multinational corporations.
‘During our careers we’ve had to find solutions for a huge range of issues from building brands and implementing long term marketing plans to finding distributors across Europe,’ said Mr Schjotz-Pedersen. ‘We believe that we can provide a highly cost effective means of creating a strategic marketing plan for companies that either do not have a marketing department or that need outside expertise.
‘Our services are varied and companies can choose to suit their needs and budgets, from an audit of their capabilities, weaknesses and opportunities to an analysis of market conditions and the most suitable tactics to employ in order to expand their business. We can help in producing creative material and websites, assist with exhibitions and product launches and in finding an effective route to market.
‘Where we differ from many marketing companies is that we will continue to work closely with a client to implement a campaign we have created and see the project through to the end. We can even provide commission-based programs funded by increased sales or whatever criterion is agreed.’
Ib Schjotz-Pedersen and Sally McGregor also intend to use their extensive knowledge in matters relating to exporting goods throughout Europe to provide clients with marketing plans that will help them to break into new sectors or geographical areas. This can be on an individual country basis or group of countries.
