New packaging consultant announces upcoming events

Edge, the new UK-based management consultancy for packaging, print and paper, will launch four events this autumn to support the networking and information demands of the packaging and retail supply chains. These events will bring together top level contributors and supply chain influencers and decision makers.

The first two events will take place the National Motorcycle Museum, near Birmingham airport; the first ‘Packaging in a Low Carbon Economy’ on 30 September, and the second on 22 October entitled ‘Escaping the Impossible Squeeze – addressing raw materials and energy price increases in the packaging supply chain’.

The third event in 2008, likely to be held in Amsterdam, will be held on 26 November and explore the business climate for cartons and flexibles in Europe, and the final event on 4 December will address packaging optimization, efficiencies and waste reduction in the retail supply chain.
