Accraply launches low tension doctor machine

Accraply, a division of Barry-Wehmiller Companies and comprising of the Accraply, Graham, Trine and Stanford brands, has launched the DM6 doctor machine. Aimed at the narrow web shrink sleeve and wraparound label markets, the machine has the capability to run web widths as narrow as 15 mm (0.59in) and 0.05 to 0.5 PLI (0.0875 to 0.875 N/cm).

The DM6 offers a compact ergonomic frame and fully cantilevered design which is said to allow excellent operator access for quick roll changes. The DM6 can be equipped to accommodate several inspection options including UV light inspection, splice detection, LED strobe capability, automatic flag detection, and an ethernet modem for remote diagnostics. The touchscreen control panel offers onboard help, searchable file manager for storing unlimited job settings and a multi-lingual display.
