Apsom Infotex, the distributor of Roland DG in South Asia, has launched launch Roland VersaUV LEC2-640/330 64 inches and 30 inches wide-format UV printer/cutter. The new wide-format printer/cutter offers several applications including labels, flexible and carton packaging, signage and retail displays.

The LEC2-640/330 models feature newly developed EUV5 ink supports CMYK and clear, white, and primer. The new inks expand the color gamut while producing vivid full-color prints with special effects including simulated embossing and gloss or matte finishes.

According to Apsom, the True Rich Color print setting provides imaging capabilities with the new inks for vibrant color graphics with neutral greys, smooth gradations, and natural skin tones. The new white ink often used as a base coat when printing on a transparent film or dark paper, achieves high opacity. The primer ink makes it possible to print on difficult media. The printers also feature advanced printheads for precision ink firing and control and LED lamps for fast curing.
