Daco to show new converting equipment at Labelexpo

Daco Solutions will be exhibiting for the first time its D250 plain label converter, pictured, at Labelexpo Europe.

The machine is said to be the result of customer demand for a version of Daco’s DTD250 with a larger unwind. The D250 has a 700mm unwind diameter with taper tension control and an electronic brake, air mandrels, single or dual rotary die stations and rotary slitting.

Also being shown is the Daco PLD250 rotary die-cutter with a semi automatic turret rewinder. The Daco PLD 250 offers the benefits of turret rewinding but with quicker makeready times. The machine is available as a rewinder, or with the addition of a rotary die-cutter, and is claimed to be a cost effective solution for blank or plain label converting with a production speed of 150m/minute. The PLD is available with either one or two rotary die stations.
