Dalim Software has launched the latest release of ES 1.1, its software for online file delivery and approval.

Featured in this release are enhancements to the High Resolution Soft Proofing option, such as extended PDF layer support for improved visual approval. Additionally, specifically for the label and packaging markets, an operator can quickly simulate a specific printing process or ink characteristics by changing opacity and the order of separations.

There are two new optional modules, Enterprise Project Tracking and Custom Job Ticket, which complete the circle of incremental production processes by adding the necessary business logic into ES. Having the ability to define all the necessary project tasks (such as project setup, artwork delivery, pre-press tasks, approvals, output and final print, just to name a few) and their associated deadlines in ES, helps all participants in the production cycle to track the progress, anticipate delays and reallocate resources if necessary.

The new job tickets extend the use of industry standards like XMP, IPTC, EXIF and others – allowing the operator to enrich already existing metadata by either individually building tickets or from JDF-compliant MIS systems that turn ES into a centralized information hub for all participants and aspects of any project.

Christopher Graf, CCO at Dalim Software, said: ‘With ES 1.1 we're enabling our clients to centralize all their business critical processes onto a single web platform. This new version is a major achievement in our mission to deliver strategic media technologies to the industry.’
