DNP Imagingcomm Europe has introduced M295HD 4.0, an extra-long thermal transfer ribbon designed for in-line printing of flexible packaging materials.

The M295HD 4.0 has been developed for use in diverse applications, including food and beverage, healthcare and cosmetics. The product prints especially well on synthetics, such as PP, PE and PET, while it also shows a solid performance on coated papers.

The ink layer is carried on a thinner 4-micron PET film allowing for rolls of up to 2,000 meters, depending on the printer type. This results in 10 percent longer runtimes between changing the ribbon and 10 percent less film waste per printed item. Print speeds can be increased up to 20 percent compared to the standard M295HD.

‘With the new M295HD 4.0, we are going to great lengths to enable your customer’s coding needs,’ said Coen de Graaf, sales manager for EMEA at DNP. ‘We are confident that the new product will broaden our customers' options in the TTO market.’
