DP Lenticular highlights enhanced MicroFlex at Labelexpo

DP Lenticular will show the new features of its MicroFlex rolls when exhibiting for the first time at Labelexpo Europe 2019.

The new DP Lenticular's enhanced MicroFlex

The new MicroFlex lenticular rolls are produced using PETG (Recycle Code: 01) resin and have now been made thinner by around 100 micron. According to the company, it makes them the thinnest press-stable lens array material available on the market.

Developed by Forward Optics in response to market requirements for thickness, resin and environmental impact, MicroFlex is a fully recyclable thin film with a continuous lens array embossed onto one surface and a gloss printable surface on the opposite surface.

As well as label printing, the rolls were designed for the philatelic, ultra-thin decoder, tax stamps, brand authentication and anti-counterfeit security printing markets and allow a wide variety of dynamic effects including moiré, depth, hidden images and motion effects.

‘We are very excited to be taking a stand at Labelexpo Europe 2019 for the first time,’ explained DP Lenticular's founder and managing director, Daniel Pierret. ‘We believe the performance capability, application flexibility and environmentally sustainable characteristics of MicroFlex combine to make it a very attractive choice for label printers. We look forward to discussing these elements and more throughout the show.’

The new MicroFlex will be available to see on stand 11C31.
