Flint Group to show new technology at Labelexpo

Flint Group will showcase a variety of products and technology for narrow web printers at Labelexpo Americas.
Flint Group Flexographic Products will introduce the nyloflex FAB 030 digital printing plates. The thinner plates are claimed to offer reduced energy consumption and waste, lower dot gain, less distortion and cupping of plates and faster processing speeds with increased consistency. ‘To be able to offer the customer a solution that provides increased eco-efficiency, together with the polymer performance of the nyloflex FAB plate, is a winning combination for success,’ said Dan Rosen, sales director, national accounts, North America. ‘We see this as a very viable option for narrow web printers looking for a more sustainable solution in the future.’
In addition to printing plates, Flint Group Flexographic Products will demonstrate the rotec label sleeve, developed specifically for narrow web printing with increased dimensional stability and excellent edge stability. The durable sleeve is said to exhibit excellent concentricity under various temperature and humidity conditions and performs well with virtually all plate and tape thicknesses.
Flint Group Narrow Web is due to unveil new products at the event, though the company says that they are still being tested and no announcement will be made before the show.
During Labelexpo Americas, Flint Group will host the 6th Annual Narrow Web Print Awards on Wednesday, September 15 at 4:00 pm on its stand. Label converters from all over the world are encouraged to submit sample labels of their choosing for evaluation by a panel of industry judges.
