Gallus launches ECS 340, the first granite press

At Labelexpo Europe 2009, the Gallus Group will target the market for the cost-effective printing of commodity labels with the launch of the ECS 340. The ECS 340 is constructed from recyclable technical granite, which helps eliminate vibration and noise from the press line.
The press features a very short web path, which considerably reduces both setup and running waste, while the technical granite frame allows a design with easy access to the print and processing stations.
The press is fully servo driven and sleeve-based and is designed to reduce initial investment levels to allow the cost effective processing of commodity labels.
