Green Bay Packaging launches moisture-resistant adhesive

Green Bay Packaging has launched its 111 adhesive aimed at overcoming the challenges of difficult adhesion and blushing in moist conditions.
The 111 adhesive is moisture-resistant, so it is intended for labels on in-the-shower products, beverages, and refrigerated foods. It maintains its permanent bond, even when wet, so there is no danger of loss of identity when the product is being used by the consumer.
It adheres well to a variety of substrates, including glass and plastics. The 111 adhesive can also handle squeezable containers, like tubes, without wrinkling the facestock.
To address each unique application, structures can be created with 111 and a variety of film face stocks – clear, white, and metalized, as well as paper, film, and poly-kraft liners.
