Idempapers launches range of specialty papers

Belgium-based Idempapers presented a new range of specialty papers at Labelexpo Europe. The business covers the production of coated one side papers for self-adhesive facestock, release liner base papers, offset and digital poster papers and carbonless papers for self-adhesive applications. 

The C1S Papers for self-adhesive includes the original SA 80 gsm, now also available in 90 and 100 gsm. The company launched Label SA 70 gsm, a ‘green’ product with physical and mechanical characteristics close to the standard 80 gsm. Downsizing the substance while keeping the required specifications gives a key environmental benefits and major savings to the whole converting chain and also for end users, says the company.   

A development dedicated to RFID and security labels, as well as over-labeling for packaging thanks to a blue back side coating, Label Cover Pro 90 gsm was also on show.
