KYMC to intro modular flexo press at Drupa

Taiwan-based machinery manufacturer is to introduce a new modular flexo press at Drupa, which opens tomorrow, and will be discussing how changing market conditions have lead to new solutions to printing folding cartons, film and paper products, cut and stack, shrink sleeve, lidding materials, multi-wall bags and pre-printed corrugated paperboard.
 
Moduflex is a mid or wide web full servo modular in-line flexo press for multiple markets. The Moduflex is a servo driven, electronic line-shaft press providing fast register set-up and tight register tolerances vertically or horizontally in-line with
multiple printing and converting machinery.
 
The Moduflex mid web press has a 870mm (34.25in) web with UV and/or hot air drying for short-run folding carton production, either roll-to-roll or with a die cutter and sheeter/stacker. Shrink sleeve or cut and stack label solutions with print repeat range of 300mm (11.8in) to 800mm (31.5in) allows for multiple SKU’s and can be run in-line with additional machinery.
 
The Moduflex wide web press comes in widths ranging from 1,070mm (42in) to 2,000mm (78.75in), with a print repeat range from 380mm (15in) to 1,300mm (51in).
